ALBER HUSIN

Candidate, Doctorate in Anthropology, University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines.
Masters in Anthropology, Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines.

ALBER HUSIN is a social anthropologist, research consultant and a recognized expert in conflict studies and analysis. He is currently Field-based Consultant of the Philippine’s Response to Indigenous Peoples and Muslim Education (PRIME), a project being implemented by GRM International in cooperation with the Department of Education and AusAid. His most recent consultancies and projects were with the World Bank Studies, The Asia Foundation, Helen Keller International (HKI), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Basic Education Assistance for Mindanao (BEAM), and the Indigenous People’s Education and Development (IPED). He is a Fellow at the Mindanawon Initiatives for Cultural Dialogue in Ateneo de Davao University, and a Member of the Human Development Network (HDN). He also sits in the Council of Conveners of the Young Moro Professionals’ Network and the Senior Advisory Board of the Institute for Autonomy & Governance.
