SULTAN KUDARAT, Philippines (ABS-CBN News/18 June) -- The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) once again aired its dismay over the status of peace negotiations with the Philippine government.

ILIGAN CITY, Philippines (Philippine Daily Inquirer/16 June) – Government chief negotiator Miriam Coronel-Ferrer said both the Philippine government and the MILF peace negotiators would have to  be creative in keeping the talks going and ensuring that the talks lead to a comprehensive peace pact.

MANILA, Philippines (Philippine Star/13 June) - The Moro National Liberation Front and the government peace panel will hold preliminary talks next week for the final implementation of the 1996 peace agreement under the auspices of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a top MNLF official said yesterday.

ZAMBOANGA CITY (BusinessWorld/13 June) -- The southern peace negotiations have reached an impasse after the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rejected anew yesterday the government’s new proposal on wealth sharing, a significant issue in efforts to strike a deal that aims to end more than a decade of talks, a rebel official said.
