MIMBALAWAG TOMAWIS MANGOTARA, JR. is a regular member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. He is the executive director of the ARMM Regional Budget Management Office, concurrently serving as port manager of Polloc Port in Parang, Maguindanao. He was elected SK Federation president of Barira, Maguindanao twice, actively participating in various Sangguniang Kabataan conventions and symposia. He was appointed as municipal accountant of Barira (2001), provincial accountant of Shariff Kabunsuan (2007), was hired back by LGU Barira as chief accountant and legal adviser to the local chief executive after the dissolution of Shariff Kabunsuan. He is the founder of Barira Youth Council, a youth organization formed to provide avenue for interactions and initiatives toward socio-civic development for the Iranun youth. He has undergone numerous trainings here and abroad. The most recent he attended is a 3-week US based training at Northern Illinois University under the International Visitor’s Program for Philippine Minorities funded by the US State Department last October 2-23, 2010. He is the finance director of the Iranun Development Council.
